ArcaCipher is planned as a UK-hosted service, providing clarity about where customer data is stored and who is responsible for operating the infrastructure.
Storage with a purpose.
The focus is on backups, files and object storage for individuals, businesses and developers. Practical storage without advertising feeds, social features or unnecessary distractions.
Privacy and security

your files.
ArcaCipher is being designed around zero-knowledge storage: customer data encrypted before it reaches the storage platform, with the customer retaining control of the keys required to decrypt it.
Zero-knowledge encryption.
The aim is for file contents to be encrypted on the customer side before being stored. ArcaCipher should store encrypted data, not readable copies of customer files.
You control the key.
The encryption model is being designed so that access to stored content depends on keys controlled by the customer rather than ArcaCipher holding a master key capable of reading every file.
No AI training.
Customer files are not intended to become training material for AI models. ArcaCipher is not being built around harvesting stored content for machine-learning datasets or commercial data products.
No advertising profiles.
ArcaCipher is not being designed around targeted advertising, behavioural profiling or monetising customer activity. The service model is storage, not advertising.
No commercial content scanning.
Customer files will not be scanned to build advertising profiles, infer interests, train AI systems or create commercial datasets from the contents of private storage.
UK-hosted infrastructure.
The service is being developed around UK-hosted infrastructure, keeping the location and operation of the storage platform clear rather than hiding it behind an unspecified global cloud.
